Legal Status & Operational Model:
expoHOST intermediates hosting or streaming services on servers located in Germany, France, USA or the Netherlands, offering customers the opportunity to purchase hosting services through a private server interface directly from the provider. We ensure the interface between the client and providers, facilitating the purchase of servers or hosting packages in data centers across Europe.
expoMedia Hosting does not operate commercial services as an economic operator, as payments for services are automatically directed to providers and service companies that are registered as economic operators in Europe.
1. VPS Hosting Services
Our VPS solutions include the following configurations and policies:
- Hosting with CyberPanel or WHM&cPanel control panels installed and configured.
- The ROOT password for cPanel accounts serves as the password for WHM access.
- Backup Policy: No backup is performed for accounts hosted through CyberPanel or cPanel interfaces; each client is responsible for developing their own backup solutions.
- Server-Level Backup: Performed at the server level with 3 restore copies made monthly. Restoring on demand will affect the entire server and all hosted accounts.
- Licensing: cPanel WHM licenses are installed during configuration and are included in the monthly subscription price.
2. Streaming Services
a.) Activation of Streaming Services
Standard streaming service activation occurs between 17:00 and 22:00 after payment confirmation. VPS streaming services are configured within 12 hours of confirmation.
- Infrastructure: expoMedia monitors streaming services operated by our provider in Germany on cutting-edge hardware.
- AzuraCast: We offer unlimited access to the control panel but do not allow exceeding the limits set by the configured packages.
- Backups: No backup is made for internal storage in AzuraCast. Server-level backups (two monthly) are configured but data integrity is not guaranteed.
- Uptime: A 99.9% uptime is guaranteed by our provider.
b.) Bandwidth & Usage
Exceeding the 128 Kbps bandwidth limit will result in account suspension without prior notice. You may create multiple Mount Points without exceeding this total bandwidth limit.
c.) Software Updates
Updates for shared streaming services are announced automatically. On private servers, AzuraCast updates are performed only upon email request. The client is responsible for external music database backups.
3. Support and Assistance
We provide technical assistance in English for all our services. Response times may vary based on the issue type:
- Online Chat & Email: office@expohost.eu
- Standard Email Response: Up to 8 hours.
- Data Center Engineer Support (Germany): 12 – 15 hours.
- Data Center Engineer Support (Amsterdam): 8 – 12 hours.
- Romania Support: 2 – 4 hours. We provide limited support in Romanian.
4. Payments and Refunds
How can I make a payment?
- Payments are made via PayPal through the expoHOST.eu interface.
- Direct payments to providers via PayPal or Stripe are also accepted.
- No Refund Policy: Payments cannot be refunded as orders are delivered immediately to our providers.
5. Exceptional Situations
Server Performance: If a server is not operating optimally, expoHOST commits to delivering a new solution and providing a discount for the following month if the service was unavailable.
Unannounced Maintenance: In case of major network issues, maintenance may be unannounced. If sessions exceed 60 minutes, we will investigate and notify all affected clients.
6. Personal Data Control
As an intermediary, expoMedia Hosting does not permit or expose client data within the client interface. Clients can request account modification or data deletion at any time. Personal data is never used for advertising or shared with external entities.
Security protocol violations should be reported immediately to office@expocloud.org.
Backup Policy & Data Responsibility
Every client has the strict obligation to maintain a personal backup copy of their website files, databases, or music libraries for streaming services.
While we operate automated backup systems for our hosting services, the integrity and availability of these backups are not guaranteed. Automated systems are designed as a secondary safety measure, but they can occasionally encounter errors or data corruption.
Recommendation: We strongly advise all users to perform regular manual backups. Having your own personal copy is the only way to ensure 100% data recovery in the event that server-side files become corrupted or lost.
